DMV REQUIREMENTS FOR DRIVER'S LICENSE if you are 18 YEARS OR OLDER
If you are 18 years of age or older and want to obtain a driver's license you must:
* Pass a written law test
* Pass a Driving Test
* Pass an eye exam
* Provide proof of age (birth certificate or passport)
* Provide social security number
* Pay $31 (current fee)
* Have your photo taken
* Provide a thumb print
Once you have completed the above you will be issued a driver's license allowing you to drive by yourself. There is no required driver education or driver training but I-5 Driving School recommends that you enroll in our Behind the Wheel Lessons prior to taking your DMV test.
